Being Proper
Having Everything
It is said that “Mattou” (真っ当 – being proper) is a derivative of “Mattou” (全う – having everything), but the meanings seem somewhat similar yet different. Being proper implies being serious, while having everything also includes the meaning of completing something to the end. Naturally, it probably also meant that one cannot complete something without being serious. Being serious is different from being a saint or sage. We understand it to mean being earnest. It is also an important part of our vision to always maintain an earnest attitude towards everything we do. Of course, this is extremely difficult. It is even difficult for us to judge whether we are actually doing it. Nevertheless, we can only continue to strive to ensure that the many customers and partners who support us think of Yamatsune as such a corporation.
